one-north: Singapore’s Innovation Hub

“one-north,” conceptualized in 2001 by Jurong Town Council (JTC), is a 200-hectare research and business park designed as a dynamic work-live-play-learn environment. Designed as a hub for innovation, fostering collaboration, and business growth, it has become a cornerstone of Singapore’s knowledge economy. Focused on key growth sectors such as biomedical sciences, infocomm technology, and media, one-north also thrives on its strengths in science and engineering.

In 2021, CSSD Singapore set up the International Business Cooperation Centre (IBCC) at Block 55 in Launchpad, one-north. Mirroring Suzhou Industrial Park’s key industries, IBCC serves as a landing platform for companies looking to expand their international presence in China and Southeast Asia, supporting businesses in the manufacturing, R&D, biomedical, and semiconductors sectors.

" one-north is home to a growing community of knowledge and research-intensive enterprises and talents. "
